Michael is from Memphis, Tennessee and has been in the safety industry for more than 22 years and with Martin for over nine years. He graduated from Memphis State University (now known as the University of Memphis) with a Bachelors in Business Administration. He has many performance awards to his credit including the Bruce Baggett Hustle Award (2013), Martin President’s Award (2016, 2017) and the Highest Gross Profit Award (2016, 2017). Michael’s specialties include hearing conservation and gas detection.
Michael enjoys helping Customers in all aspects of their business, but especially when they are in a jam. He’s a natural born problem solver and knows how to get things done. He believes the key to helping Companies operate better is taking the time to understand their processes and working flexibly within those processes in ways larger, more rigid companies cannot.
Michael believes in practicing gratitude on a daily basis as tomorrow is not promised for us, being present and taking things one day at a time. He is an extensive traveler, a decent cook and formidable tennis player. He loves doing any activity outdoors when the weather is nice and is a Memphis Grizzlies and Memphis Tigers fan. In his spare time, he loves spending time with friends and family.

Rodney is from Jackson, Mississippi, but currently lives in Memphis, Tennessee. He has been in the safety industry for almost 40 years and with Martin for 8 years. He is proficient in all things safety, but surpasses all others when it comes to knowledge of numerous technology platforms related to instrumentation and detection. He has won several awards throughout his career including the Martin Entrepreneurial Spirit of the Year Award (2016) and the Highest Cost Savings Award (2018).
“I am always looking for ways to provide bottom line savings to protect the most valuable assets of any company – their employees,” says Rodney. “Every day I meet great people and enjoy providing solutions that enable workers to go home safely to their families.”
Rodney has been married for 37 years and has two children and one granddaughter. In his spare time, he enjoys mountain biking, music, computer programing and Mississippi State Bulldogs Sports.

Linda is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and has been in the Safety Sales Industry for over 38 years. She is an OSHA 10-Hour Authorized Instructor and possesses years of PPE product and application knowledge.
She has been recognized for her great work and customer focus in the nine years she has been with Martin by winning the Martin Presidential Award and Highest Cost Savings Award in 2018.
“I love the company I work for and the opportunity to help others,” says Linda. “It gives me great satisfaction to know at the end of the day, I have made someone’s job a little easier. Whether it’s working with a Customer, Co-worker or one of my Suppliers, I want to be thought of as that go to person that gets things taken care of in a timely manner.”
“One of the ways I help Customer’s operate better is by listening closely to what the Customer’s needs are. Then, I come up with a solution and provide quality products and services. It could be vending, vendor managed inventory, setting up a storeroom, fit testing or finding cost savings. I’m all about taking care of the Customer efficiently, economically and with what makes good sense. I genuinely care for every Customer I work with big or small. They know I am here for them 24/7 and receiving calls after hours and on weekends is fairly common.”
In her spare time, Linda spends time with family. She has been married for 35 years and has three wonderful children. They enjoy working out together, taking vacations and just meeting for dinner. Linda says, “I’m not only blessed with my husband and children, but have a wonderful brother and three sisters that are my best friends.”
Bobby is from Brandon, Mississippi and has been in the safety industry for over 30 years. Eight of those years have been with Martin. His specialties include gas detection technology applications and troubleshooting maintenance. He is a Competent Person in Fall Protection and has participated in numerous technical trainings for gas detection.
A great communicator and people person, Bobby enjoys working with Customers and meeting potential Customers so he can help them operate safely. “Martin is a progressive company with great people,” says Bobby. “That enables me to think out-of-the-box to find the best, custom tailored solution for their safety needs. I have my Customer’s best interest in mind and take pride in being their safety partner. I take time to understand their job duties and then apply products that can help them work safer.”
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, golfing on the weekends, and Mississippi State Bulldogs sporting events.

Cutting Tools/Metalworking Specialist
Chris is from Shelbyville, Tennessee and has nine years’ experience in CNC machining. He attended Middle Tennessee State University where he studied Mechanical Engineering. He has a thorough understanding of CNC machining and cutting tools design, Fanuc robotics, cell layout and design, SolidWorks 3D modeling, Siemens and Fanuc CNC programming, workholding fixture design, cost savings developments, lean manufacturing opportunities, Microsoft Office applications, machine maintenance and general mechanics. He is certified in Fanuc Robotics Step 1, Siemens STEP 7, and SECO Step Level 1.
Chris helps companies operate better by finding ways to improve their operations – whether it be via cost, tool life, cycle time or any process improvement in general. Chris says, “I have no problem meeting deadlines and creating new ways of improving the everyday processes in the manufacturing world. I am creative and flexible, but when it comes time to focus, I get the job done. I think of my job as a way of making the hardest working people’s job easier. I came from the shop floor, so I have the best foundation to build improvements upon.”
Chris enjoys hands-on projects. In his spare time, he builds race cars with friends, shoots guns, and travels the world.
