Martin has partnered with Conexiom, a fully automated sales order solution that specializes in converting customer POs into a file that we import directly into our system.
Some of their clients include Honeywell, Henkel, ExxonMobil, and Kendall Electric.
“Conexiom works by mapping a customer’s orders in the Conexiom system,” said Alex Ruggles, Director of Customer Service. “Once that’s completed and all relevant fields are identified, we begin forwarding the customer’s orders as they come in to us. Mere minutes later, a completed customer order is created in S2K for the CSR to review and send to the warehouse. This allows us to not only increase our accuracy, but dramatically reduce time spent on order entry which can take up a significant portion of a CSR’s day. By freeing that time up, we allow our CSRs to spend more time on value-added activities that customers care about, such as quoting, expediting, problem-solving, and customer interaction.”
Martin is still in the early stages of implementation, but in May and June we automated 26 customers and processed over 3,000 order lines. Our goal is to have 100 customers use this technology by the end of the year, which we estimate will cut the number of lines needing to be entered by the customer service team in half.
