A Tier 1 Automotive supplier needed the ability to precisely measure and control their machine processes. But as years passed, fewer employees had the necessary skills to operate the machinery. The skills gap could potentially cause the supplier inefficiencies and reduced capabilities.

Our Measurement Specialists visited the site to assess the machine and evaluate the process. We developed a solution and installed a series of robot-loaded Equator measuring machines, each with protective enclosures.

The fully automated machines eliminated the need for an employee to operate the machinery. The machines also expanded the supplier’s capabilities by allowing them to handle smaller quantities than before. Now the supplier can accept more business, increasing production and sales.
