27th Annual Golf Tournament Raises Over $60,000 to support Shoals Special Olympics
The Shoals community once again demonstrated its generosity and community spirit during the 27th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, held on April 28, 2025, at the Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club. More than 220 golfers, sponsors, and supporters came together for a memorable day of golf and giving, raising over $60,000 to benefit local individuals with special needs.
The tournament supports the efforts of the Special Olympics committee, managed locally by Singing River Athletes, a 501(c)(3) organization. This year’s fundraising total exceeded expectations and will directly enhance programs and services for the special needs community in the Shoals area.
The event’s success was made possible by the continued support of generous sponsors. Martin Supply returned as the tournament’s Title Sponsor, with the Long Lewis Foundation stepping up once again as Platinum Sponsor. Their dedication to the cause underscores the compassion that defines the Shoals region.
